ASRY, the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, has recently organized an awarding ceremony to honour its outstanding employees as well as its distinguished trade partners from both subcontractors and agents. This ceremony was held in the presence of ASRY’s Chairman of Board of Directors Mr. Yousif Isa Bubshait and Board Members representing Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Iraq.

During the ceremony more than 200 employees were honoured in recognition of their exceptional efforts and dedication to serving the company, as well as their effective contributions towards the implementation of ASRY’s modernization strategies aimed at developing and enhancing the company's ability to effectively compete globally in the maritime sector. About 20 companies from both ASRY specialized agents and subcontractors were also honoured due to their excellence in providing services of high standards throughout many years.

On this occasion, ASRY’s Chairman, Mr. Yousif Isa Bubshait, expressed his appreciation to the distinguished employees and the crucial role they played in the growth of the company. By virtue of their prominent contributions and effective teamwork, ASRY’s position as a distinguished national edifice was cemented, and showcased ASRY’s important contributions to highlighting the Kingdom of Bahrain's eminent global position. 

Mr. Mazen Matar, ASRY’s Managing Director, commented, “This ceremony comes in recognition of the company’s successes and achievements, attributed to all the employees who constitute ASRY’s pillars of development and growth. Their administrative excellence, professionalism, and effectiveness in providing advanced services in accordance with the latest systems and technologies must be commended. In addition, their integrity, creativity, innovative and cooperative skills must also be applauded, as it is the very traits that enabled ASRY to assume the regional and global position it enjoys today as the yard of choice for different global markets”.

>The honorary list included the distinguished employees of ASRY in celebration of their effective contributions and continuous efforts that allowed the company to accomplish many honourable achievements at various levels, and in which played a prominent and influential role in the process of the sustainable development of the company.

The ceremony also included the distribution of certificates of appreciation from the Executive Management to all the honoured employees, who in turn expressed their gratitude for the keenness of the company in developing, supporting, and empowering its human resources.
